EPU Children’s Center Celebrates 40 Years of Strengthening and Empowering Children and Families

FRESNO, Calif. — October 11, 2016 —The EPU Children’s Center, formerly Exceptional Parents Unlimited, is proud to announce its 40th year in operation. The EPU Children’s Center offers six specialized programs in the Central Valley serving children and families facing extraordinary medical, developmental, and parenting challenges.

The EPU Children’s Center was founded in 1976 as a support group for parents of children with Down’s syndrome. Today, the EPU Children’s Center has grown into a thriving organization with over 100 employees serving 950 children and families per week. Its robust programs are carefully executed to meet the individual needs of children, parents and their families.
